Assembly instructions for ceiling mounted cameras
i.e. SCX, Eagle, EVi
Track Lighting
Instead of expensive IR LED lighting, you can also use LED track lighting.
All lights have to be set to 5000k
Put the 1/4" black bolt supplied with the speaker mounts into the speaker mount adapter.
Put a star washer on the protruding bolt end and screw tightly into the camera mount adapter.,
You can either mount the cameras directly on the track or separately on the ceiling.
For the SCX, the cameras should be mounted 2ft apart.
IR lighting
For those that would prefer IR LED lighting
then 2 CM Vision CM24 IR 850nm lights will be required
$80 each
with adapted 10 to 15 degree narrow beam lenses.
In order to adapt the standard CM24 IR light with narrow beam (15 to 25 degree) lenses
you will have to purchase the narrow beam lenses on Amazon,
open up the CM24 (just 4 screws) and replace all wide angle lenses with the new narrow beam lenses.
The old lenses just twist off
You will require 24 narrow beam lenses per CM24 IR 850nm light for a total of 72 lenses.
Cost on Amazon for the lenses will be around
$70
for the 72 lenses ($7 per pack of 10).
It takes a while to un-twist all the original lenses and replace them all with the new narrow beam lenses
but without this,
the light intensity from the standard CM24 with wide angle lenses won't be sufficient to capture hi-speed frames of the ball and club.

What the most successful golf simulator companies earn
The two most popular low cost golf simulator pad manufactures have sold to date 50,000 to 75,000 units each at a retail price of between $500 and $900
Assuming both operate on just a $100 to $200 profit margin
then that equates to $ 7.5 million to $ 15 million profits each
Note that we have very reliable sources confirming these numbers
It has been estimated that SkyTrak sales have exceeded 20,000 so far
with a gross profit for the company of $1,000 per unit.
That would then equate to a gross profit of $20 million.
Likewise, the two most popular high-end golf simulators selling in the $30,000 to $50,000 range
have sold well over 5000 units each with an average of $10,000 profit per sale.
This equates to around $ 50 million in profits per company
The golf simulator market
The golf simulator market has been on an incredible run for the last few years.
Research indicates the market is worth around $1.5 billion
— and is expected to be over $3 billion in 2030.
We have had several acquisitions and investments in the last two years.
Foresight sold to Vista Outdoor for $474 million.
Full Swing received a $160 million majority investment from Bruin Capital.
Skytrak sold to Golftec for $65 million.
Foresight being valued at nearly half a billion is impressive.
For reference — Callaway’s market cap is $2.4 billion.
Golf simulators were seeing a rise in popularity before Covid.
Then, the market exploded during Covid as more people were working from home and getting into golf.
These are just a number of the international countries GSA Golf regularly ship to other than our home USA country
